The enquiry form: small element, big difference
Most business websites lose enquiries at the form. A few simple choices decide whether a curious visitor becomes a customer.

You can win the click, the read and the trust — and still lose the customer at a clumsy form. The enquiry form is the narrowest point in your funnel, and small friction there costs real work.
Ask for less
Every extra field lowers completion. A name, a phone or email, and a message is usually enough — you can ask the rest when you call back. Long forms feel like work, and people on the fence simply leave.
Make it obvious, and everywhere
The form (or a clear button to it) should sit on every key page, not hidden away on a contact tab. Someone who’s ready to get in touch shouldn’t have to hunt for how.
Confirm, and respond fast
Show a clear success message so people know it worked, then reply quickly — for a local business, response speed is a real competitive advantage. A form that vanishes into silence trains customers to give up.
Treat the form as part of the sale, not an afterthought. Short, visible, reassuring, and backed by a fast reply — that’s the difference between traffic and a full diary.
